SILKY OAK DISPLAY CABINET in HOLLAND PARK, Queensland for sale
Silky oak display cabinet with brass claw feet circa 1912 [Edwardian]. This shop cabinet came from a pharmacy in Paddington where it stayed for some eighty years. It is in superb condition with all original glass, nickel fittings and two levels of shelving. The dimensions are 275cm [9'] in length, 60cm in depth and 1m in height. the timber beading is in excellent condition as are the brass clasps on the four back doors. This piece has the patina of yesteryear and would suit any home. The cute bakelite label at the front of the cabinet has a four digit Brisbane phone number eluding to the cabinet maker's origin in Brisbane.
